Boiler Efficiency and Energy Savings

According to the US Dept of Energy, 45% of all energy consumed by industry is used to generate steam. Preparing your Boiler for the Off Season The problems that occur from improper storage of your boiler can range from general tube thinning due to oxygen attack to complete tube failure. Burner controls and valves can fail with catastrophic results. According to the National Board, last year's burner failures were responsible for more than 85% of fatal power boiler incidents.
